The English Day – Second Term was a special opportunity to celebrate our students’ dedication, commitment, and progress in learning English. This event recognized those who consistently worked hard to improve their skills, demonstrating perseverance, enthusiasm, and responsibility throughout the academic term.

During the ceremony, students received a Certificate of Achievement as a token of recognition for their continuous effort in class. The certificates highlighted not only academic performance but also the students’ positive attitude and motivation to strengthen their bilingual skills, which are key for their future.

The celebration of English Day reflects our institution’s commitment to fostering bilingualism and creating meaningful spaces where students can demonstrate their learning process. It was not only an academic recognition but also a moment of pride for our school community, motivating students to continue striving for excellence.

On the other hand, this day was to show the students’ synthesis projects and their amazing performance during the “Volvamos a la plaza” project. We made a sort of scenario in which students were able to invest in the project they liked the most. Students from Retoños to 3^rd grade showed their skills to sell their products, 4^th and 5^th graders could sell their newspapers and 6^th to7th grders could create their own business. Students from all the grades manage their money and they had the opportunity to create a meaningful experience during the day.
After this event, students went to some immersive scenarios in which they have to use English language to complete the puzzles prepared for some students.

This past Tuesday, August 22nd, the halls of Colegio Eucarístico Villa Guadalupe were filled with an electric atmosphere of intellect and determination during their annual Inter-School Spelling Bee. We are immensely proud to announce that our students from Colegio del Bosque Bilingüe not only participated but demonstrated exceptional skill and poise, distinguishing themselves as finalists across all rounds and categories of the competition.

From the preliminary challenges to the most demanding final rounds, our spellers stood among the best, showcasing the depth of their vocabulary, their precise understanding of phonetics, and the composure under pressure that we continually nurture in our bilingual program. Their performance was a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support of their families and teachers.

After a series of intensely competitive rounds that showcased the incredible talent from all participating schools, the jury faced the arduous task of determining the winners. It is with great pride that we share the outcome: our students secured second place in the competition.

This remarkable achievement underscores a significant victory. To earn a place on the podium after such a rigorous and closely contested event is a clear reflection of the high caliber of our students and the quality of our English language instruction. While the first-place position was awarded to another deserving participant, our spellers' performance was nothing short of exemplary, earning them well-deserved recognition and applause from the entire audience.

We extend our warmest congratulations to all our participants for representing Colegio del Bosque Bilingüe with such brilliance and grace. You have made our community extraordinarily proud. We also extend our gratitude to Colegio Villa Guadalupe for hosting a magnificent and well-organized event that fosters healthy competition and a love for language learning.

This accomplishment is a powerful milestone on our continuous journey of academic excellence. We have proven our strength and determination. Let there be no doubt: we are incredibly proud of this year's achievement, and we are already preparing for the next challenge. Next year, we're coming back.
