FRIENDSHIP DAY 2026 AT COLEGIO DEL BOSQUE BILINGÜE
On February 13th, Colegio del Bosque Bilingüe celebrated Friendship Day through a dynamic and interdisciplinary academic experience that combined learning, values, and student engagement.
The event was intentionally designed to promote essential values such as respect, empathy, cooperation, and inclusion, while also strengthening students’ communicative competence in English. Throughout the day, both Primary and High School students participated in structured learning stations led by different academic areas, ensuring that the celebration maintained a strong pedagogical foundation.
In Mathematics, students explored probability and compatibility through interactive activities that connected logical reasoning with interpersonal relationships. By analyzing similarities and differences, they reflected on how both shared interests and diversity contribute to meaningful friendships.
In Science, students conducted the “Love Temperature Lab” experiment, observing how heat transfer and energy changes can symbolize emotional warmth and human connection. This hands-on activity encouraged curiosity, prediction, teamwork, and scientific reasoning in an engaging and memorable way.
In the Languages station, learners participated in collaborative challenges involving idiomatic expressions in English and Spanish. This activity fostered linguistic awareness, cultural understanding, and authentic communication, reinforcing the institution’s bilingual approach.
In Social Studies, students explored friendship traditions and cultural expressions from different parts of the world. Through interactive activities and reflection, they developed a broader global perspective and strengthened their intercultural competence.
Additionally, the Dance station provided a vibrant and expressive space where students demonstrated friendship and emotional connection through movement and rhythm. Through choreographies and creative expression, they experienced how dance can serve as a powerful tool for communication, unity, and joy.
Beyond the academic stations, 11th-grade students assumed an active leadership role by organizing complementary activities that encouraged participation, responsibility, and school spirit. Their involvement reflected autonomy, initiative, and commitment to the school community.
Throughout the day, students not only engaged in meaningful academic tasks but also enjoyed a positive and collaborative atmosphere. The celebration allowed them to strengthen peer relationships, express themselves freely, and experience learning as a shared and joyful process.
Friendship Day 2026 reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to holistic education, bilingual development, student leadership, and the formation of socially responsible citizens within a supportive and human-centered educational environment.
